The San Francisco Symphony performed the world premiere performances of “Disney and Pixar’s UP in Concert Live-to-Film” on July 26th and 27th. In addition to beautiful concerts, the SFS hosted film director Pete Docter and composer Michael Giacchino; both Docter and Giacchino participated in pre-concert events.

UP received Academy Awards for Best Animated Feature Film and Best Original Score as well as four Grammy Awards.
