Anne-Sophie Mutter began her celebration of the 250th anniversary of Beethoven’s birth with a tour across Asia. She and long-term collaborator Lambert Orkis performed five recitals at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre, Seoul Arts Center, National Kaohsiung Center for the Arts, Taipei National Concert Hall, and NCPA Beijing.

The recitals were followed by a week-long residency in Beijing where she performed with Manfred Honeck, Daniel Mueller-Schott, Lambert Orkis, Wei Lu, Vladimir Babeshko and the NCPA Orchestra Beethoven’s Violin and Triple concerti, as well as an evening of trios and quartets.
