German conductor Markus Poschner is Chief Conductor of the Bruckner Orchestra and Opera Linz.
Hailed as one of the most promising conducting talents of his generation whether on stage or in the pit, highlights of 2017-18 include productions of Strauss’ Die Frau ohne Schatten and Berlioz’s La Damnation de Faust at Landestehater Linz, a UK tour with Bruckner Orchester Linz, Der Fliegende Holländer at Opernhaus Zürich, as well as guest conducting appearances with Dresdner Philharmoniker, Radio Symphonie Orchester Wien, and the Bamberger Symphoniker.
